About Us

Who We Are

Fat Salmon is an independent editorial team dedicated to providing comprehensive information and reviews about betting sites available to Australian players. We are not a gambling operator ourselves—we exist solely to inform and guide our readers through the online betting landscape.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help readers in Australia make informed and safe choices when selecting betting sites. We aim to cut through marketing noise and deliver honest, evidence-based reviews that empower you to gamble responsibly and choose platforms that best suit your needs.

What We Cover

We review and compare the best betting sites available to Australian players, covering topics including sports betting platforms, online casinos, mobile apps, welcome bonuses, payment methods, customer support, and licensing information. Our content is designed to help you understand your options and make decisions aligned with your preferences.

Editorial Independence

Fat Salmon earns affiliate commissions when readers use our referral links to join betting sites. We want to be transparent about this revenue model. However, our affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial rankings, reviews, or recommendations. Our assessments are based on objective criteria and user experience, independent of commission structures.

Our Commitment to Responsible Gambling

We believe gambling is a form of entertainment and should only be enjoyed by those aged 18 or over (or the legal minimum age in your jurisdiction). We are committed to promoting responsible gambling practices and encourage all readers to gamble within their means, set personal limits, and seek support if needed.
